Truck Scale Operation
1. Purpose:
Standardize staff behaviors, realize standardized operation, and guarantee personal and equipment safety.
2. Scope:
Applicable to the safe operation and daily maintenance of truck scales.

4. Operation Procedures
4.1 Pre-operation
- Regularly check for loose or broken power connections and ensure a firm grounding wire connection.
- Shut down the equipment in a timely manner during severe thunderstorms, cut off all power supplies and disconnect weighing data cables.
- Inspect the integrity and effectiveness of traffic safety signs and vehicle guiding devices in the operation area, as well as the normal operation of monitoring and lighting facilities.
4.2 During Operation
- No personnel are allowed to stand on the truck scale when vehicles drive onto or off the scale platform.
- Scale operators shall monitor vehicle wheel alignment. Promptly signal drivers to stop and correct deviation if any is found.
- The vehicle speed shall not exceed 5km/h when driving onto the scale. Sudden braking and rapid acceleration are strictly prohibited.
- The next vehicle is only permitted to enter the scale after the previous weighed vehicle has completely driven away.
- In case of equipment failure, only authorized manufacturer maintenance personnel shall be contacted for inspection and repair. Unauthorized personnel are forbidden to conduct on-site maintenance.
- Personnel from non-authorized institutions are prohibited from touching the scale body and weighing instruments. Unauthorized persons are not allowed to access equipment in the weighing area to prevent illegal device installation and intentional damage.
4.3 Post-operation
- Turn off all equipment power after work completion.
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and upkeep.
- Regularly clean sundries under the scale platform and inspect drainage conditions.
5. Emergency Measures
- In the event of an electric shock, cut off the power supply immediately to separate the victim from the power source.
- In case of vehicle injury accidents, notify the driver at once to take damage control measures, jointly rescue the injured, report the incident and activate the company-level emergency rescue plan.
II. Operation Requirements
- Operators shall be proficient in the use of the weighing system and skilled in daily operations.
- Maintain careful and rigorous operation, keep the working area clean and tidy, and ensure accurate weighing results.
- Operators must follow standard operating procedures. Unauthorized modification of system settings is strictly forbidden.
- Any faults or abnormalities shall be reported to management immediately for timely maintenance.
III. Safety Management
- Operators shall comply with safety regulations and use equipment properly without reckless operation.
- Stay alert during weighing operations to prevent safety accidents and ensure the safety of personnel and vehicles.
- Strengthen safety protection for the system and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
- The truck scale area is designated as a key monitored zone. Unauthorized personnel are banned from contacting the scale body and weighing instruments to prevent man-made damage.
IV. Responsibility System
- Operators who make operational errors or violate regulations shall be held accountable in accordance with relevant rules.
- Management personnel shall provide regular training and guidance to ensure operators fully master and comply with operating specifications.
V. Supplementary Provisions
This regulation shall take effect on the date of issuance and serve as the guideline for the operation and management of unattended weighing systems. Any adjustment or supplement to the operation procedures requires revision and official approval before implementation.
